RotoWire.com’s David Regan and Yahoo!’s Andy Behrens both earned three finalists spots for the 2010 FSWA Writing Awards. Regan is a finalist for Best Baseball Article on the Web, Best Baseball Series and Baseball Writer of the Year; Behrens is among the top three in Best Humor Article, Best Football Article in Print and Best Football Article on the Web. Other multiple-category finalists are Derek VanRiper of RotoWire.com, Chris Ryan of RotoExperts.com and Tristan Cockcroft of ESPN.com.

In the Writer of the Year categories, Yahoo!’s Brad Evans (College Sports), RotoWire.com’s Mark Taylor (Racing) and Yahoo!’s Scott Pianowski (Golf) are all in position to defend their titles from last year.

Three first-time finalists in the category will compete for Football Writer of the Year: Ladd Biro of The Sporting News, Dave Richard of CBS, and Matt Schauf of Rapid Draft.
