The News - Announcements

Mike Clay of Pro Football Focus and Sports Illustrated’s Michael Beller have joined the FSWA Board of Directors. Clay replaces long-time Board member Kelly Grogan, while Beller assumes the SI seat vacated by Paul Forrester.

Clay is the Director and Managing Editor at Pro Football Focus Fantasy. He also contributes to NBC’s Rotoworld.com, ESPN Insider, and Athlon Sports, and has contributed at PhiladelphiaEagles.com. He is a member of the Pro Football Writers of America (PFWA) and is also on the FSWA Hall of Fame voting committee.

Beller went to the University of Wisconsin for his undergraduate degree and earned a master's in journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. He first covered fantasy sports professionally for RotoWire while he was a student at Wisconsin, and wrote for the site for four years. In between his undergraduate and grad studies, Beller worked for STATS, LLC, in Northbrook, Ill., in the company's operations department. Beller started with SI.com as a weekly contributor in September 2010 and is now the site's lead fantasy sports writer.
