Boggis to serve as FSWA secretary |
Jeff Boggis will serve as the secretary for the FSWA Executive Committee. Said FSWA President Mike Beacom, "I've known Jeff for many years and trust he will do a fantastic job for us." Boggis' primary duties as FSWA secretary will be to generate content for the website and FSWA social media tools.
Boggis got his start in the fantasy sports industry close to a decade ago, when he began contributing content to The Sporting News. There, Brendan Roberts gave Boggis his nickname, “The Sultan of Stats." Boggis later wrote a weekly minor league column for Pro Fantasy Sports, and in 2007 created the Fantasy Sports Empire website, which features written articles and podcasts for both fantasy baseball and fantasy football. Over the past five years he has been the fantasy football commissioner of Atlanta’s top rock radio station (Rock 100.5 The Regular Guys Show) which features a number of celebrities, and Boggis can be heard each Thursday morning during fantasy football season on the T&A Morning Show in Myrtle Beach, SC.
